Dear friends, colleagues, and supporters of our foundation!
We are pleased to share with you the results of our work for the first quarter of 2025. These three months have been filled with important events and active efforts to help those who found themselves in difficult life circumstances. Thanks to your support, we have been able to help many people facing migration, legal, and psychological challenges.
We received 29 requests regarding the following migration issues:
- extended processing time for new residence permit applications by the Lithuanian migration service;
- denial of refugee status;
- procedure for obtaining residence permits on humanitarian grounds;
- opening bank accounts for persons with various statuses.
We processed 31 requests on the following legal issues:
- procedure for obtaining international protection in Poland;
- procedure for certifying powers of attorney in Belarus and other countries for actions on the territory of Belarus;
- inheritance rights;
- procedure for real estate transactions when unable to return to Belarus;
- restoration of parental rights;
-procedure for medical interventions and obtaining consent for them;
- divorce proceedings;
- procedure for employment and obtaining work permits in Poland.
We received 19 new requests for psychological assistance, with 4 individuals continuing therapy from the previous period. The main issues people are seeking help with include:
- stress after detention, anxiety;
- problems adapting to a new country;
- destructive behavior, aggression;
- difficulties in relationships;
- depression.
Our technical support service processed 87 requests. Of these, 51 requests concerned the cleaning and configuration of devices, and each request was successfully resolved.
Payments for this period amounted to 27,200 euros. This includes payments under the "Family Friend" project, medical compensations, and one-time payments.
We received 172 requests on various topics through personal messages on social networks and work contacts.
We also participated in a charity fundraiser for March 8th to help affected women. We received 28 applications and raised 2,567 euros through this collection.
Additionally, we participated in the "TOPIC#1" campaign, which aimed to support Belarusian political prisoners and raise awareness of this painful issue through a series of events in different countries around the world.
